James Fetter
Mr. James Fetter was born in Pennsylvania but spent most of his adult life in Michigan, where he attended art school and worked as a commercial artist for many years. He eventually opened his own commercial art studio, servicing many major advertising agencies in the country. His fine art paintings hang in many homes and businesses around the country. Some of his recent exhibits include:

* Wyoming Conservation Stamp Competition, Top 40.
* Cow Palace Celebration of Western Art, San Francisco.
* Windsor Newton World Wide Painting Competition, semi-finalist.
* Northeast Michigan Juried Exhibition, 1st place award.
* Artist's Magazine 2000 Competition, Finalist in Landscape and
Animal categories.
* Our Town Exhibit for 2001, Birmingham, Michigan, 2nd place award.
* Gilcrease Museum, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Invitational Show for 2002 & 2004.
* Fredrix "Spirit of America" National Competition, Honorable Mention.
* Artist's Magazine 2003 Competition, 2nd place award.

Recently, Mr. Fetter completed a one-man show in the Jesse Besser Museum in Alpena, Michigan. Fifty pieces were exhibited for that show.
Mr. Fetter was nominated for entry in the NOAPS Signature Artists Guild - an honorary fellowship of career artist members whose work is recognized for consistent excellence.
Mr. Fetter's work is currently represented in the following galleries: Abbacino Galleria in Venice, Florida. The Bishop Gallery in Harbor Springs, Michigan. The Orchard Lake Gallery in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
