In 2015 we were the recipients of 3 grants: Ford Motor, Four County Community Foundation, and MCACA (Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs), which paid for a new roof! The fourth contributor for the roof is ourselves, with money raised from our programs. In particular the Empty Bowl Project, Moonflowers Afterglow, and all of our Music Programs. Thanks to all who have participated in these fundraisers and events. Every little bit got us a step closer to a new roof! Thanks Mr. James Dixon from Dixon Roofing for a great job!
In 2014, we spent most of our resources on improving the Carriage House. Since it opened as a Clay Studio, we became very aware of needed repairs. Repairs completed included the rebuild of all 3 upper story windows, a new carriage house door (rebuilt as an exact replica), window screens, electrical & lighting upgrades, a new sump & trim paint and of course all the kiln and clay supplies. Thanks to the Four County Community Foundation, Kiwanis of Romeo and Thee Office for grant money for these building improvements and Ford Motor for the grant money for the clay supplies. Thanks to Craftman Kevin McMahon, Electrician Ryan Germain, Mark Venet & Dave Pyrce.

Volunteers and new committee members are always welcome to help with new and ongoing projects. With historical buildings, there is always something that needs attention. People with trade and craftsman skills are especially helpful.
